Wandering around campus during study week is one of the greatest thing to do! Well, that's what I thought after all these! If not, I would think that my Uni is the worst place to explore. It turns out to be the opposite of my first impression. haha~ So, USM-ian, love and appreciate our beautiful surrounding of USM ba~

Steven said it would release bad smell when it sense danger. hahaaa.. I guess it thinks that I am too weak to harm it with my cam so yea, it stay still for me to capture this shot.

011110 Bed Bugs

Do you know how ladybird looks like?
ya.. spotty!
Today when I wake up, my shoulder, arm, leg, neck and my back got so many RED SPOTsss!
I freaked out because previously only one or two will appear randomly in my body but not as serious as this time! I knew the bed provided by my hostel had been passing down from GENERATIONS and so I thought it would be safe for me to sleep on it after applying a mattress comforter and brand new bed sheet!

Here, the overall look of my bed without mattress comforter and bed sheet, ready to be thrown away (I guess that's what my hostel management would do, unless they want to keep it for other resident?)

I am not going to tolerant with it anymore when my body is harmed and I don't want to get bitten up by 'INVISIBLE DUST MITES' from that yucky bed! Off to my hostel office and lodge a report about it.

Flip it over, it's even worst I tell you!

Here is a closer look for you, try and lay on it. I guarantee you can transform into a 'ladybird' in no time!

I get scoldings from my sis whenever she sees me scratching my body, until RED RED! Like bursting pimples! Ewww.... But I can't help it.

Luckily, this time the hostel management's performance didn't fail me. They are so efficient that the uncle deliver a brand new mattress to me within an hour after I went to the office. 

Now, I have a new mattress dy!!! yayyyyyy....   

In conjunction with this, I cleaned up my whole room, as precaution to avoid unwanted incident like this happen to me or my sis again! >.<

311010 HOPE of the seed

This is one of my Graphic Comm assignment, which is to design a brochure/pamphlet. We get to choose our own theme and materials as long as we do it on A4 size. 

hehe.. My chosen subject is to help 'Street children of Calcutta' through HOPE foundation. The content is for the purpose of this assignment only.

Let me explain, why 'Hope of seed. Seed of hope'? 

Actually this is Isaac's idea, I asked him to think of an easy and meaningful slogan for me. Hope of seed means wishes and simple hope of street children of Calcutta. At here, seed symbolizes children.

Seed of hope means, through the donations and help from us, the love we show towards the children planted the seed of hope to the children. 

haha, u get the idea or not?

Here it is, my simple brochure with the theme color or yellow and red. Yellow means sunshine, the hope is rising. And red means love. The combination or yellow and red create a strong contrast yet they blends perfectly with each other. Hope you like the way I compose the front cover. =)

HOPE of the seeds... Pass it on, will you? hehe.. I am emphasizing on the word HOPE. We can pass it on with our love.

hehe... i uses 相思豆, hope it can represent seeds. Ya, you can flip it open to have a look at the inner half-heart.

When there is HOPE, failure is NOT an option! If you noticed, the red seeds from the white surface have some kind of connection with the other inner page. This is to create a continuation leading the audience to flip in further.

Flip in again. Here we have the content (For the purpose of this assignment only, no applicable in reality). hehe. When seeds of love starts spreading, it could create a utopia to the children. The content is displayed on the whiteboard because these children wish to go to school like us. Tic Tac Toe shows the simple need of the children, they don't play computer games, but simple game like that.

I uses different font type to emphasize again on hope. If InDesign would allowed, my initial plan is to insert different language of the word HOPE. Means, without boundaries, the hope of the children can spread globally.

tadaaa... this is the back. The yellowish half circle shape means the hope is arising.

Hehe, a friend of mine commented it looks like a greeting card at his first sight. Well, I agree with him at some point because my greatest love is CARD MAKING actually. Just that when I left home to study in USM, I left my tool box back at home. I have a studio and trademark of my on back then.. hehe, memories!!!~ Hope those of you who came across this would love it and do drop me your precious comments ya. Thank youuuu n__n

301010 Testing 1 2 3

Instead of 131110 which I planned on getting my babie, I got it earlier to kill my boredom during this dragging study week of mine. So, 291010 would be a memorable date for me now. And my sis said my babie is October baby..So lame... hahaha!!

And here, after 8 hours of charging, my babie is ready to action. 

Jeng jeng~ Guess who is this? It would be better if I could lower my angle to capture more of the walking path right?

I personally love the above pic the most!!! The color is so sharp and the composition is just right, the feel is there. 

Well, sometimes when the plan isn't going accordingly, the alternate route can surprises us too, right? I don't know why the Chinese stall of Tekun Cafe isn't operating today where I think it SHOULD. Because of that, we have to go for the not-so-healthy fast food. Lalaaa... skip the food part, see how she posed!! She said she is imitating her BF Mr. J. (haahahah!!) Luckily we sit at kak-kak corner there, nobody sees us camwhoring.

When it's raining and I have nothing better to shoot, my drying socks became my model too... hehe. 

p/s: It's raining season and it's no fun at all. Coz i can't go out and shooting, I guess I need to find some indoor fun for myself  >.<

I will think of F-O-O-D when  I am bored. To distract myself from going for the real food, I hypnotized myself using illustration. Now, I am going to share my latest MOST FAVOURITE FISH&CHIPS RESTAURANT to you! 

Hahaa... This is Keira, see she is so excited!!! Like meeee!!! 

When it comes to western cuisine, FISH AND CHIPS ranks NO.1 on my list! It's my ALL-TIME-FAVOURITE!! Coz it doesn't have bones like the other CHOPS, and I love it especially with tartar sauce!!

Well, after several disappointments by Westwood (used to be my MOST FAVOURITE) because they change the chef! Luckily Keira found a new one in Penang and gain back my love for FISH AND CHIPS!!!

It's BLUE REEF FISH&CHIPS!!!!~~ 

I would rate 4/5 for the food and pricing!! Overall environment is cozy and it's ideal for friend's gathering!

Jeng jeng jeng!!!!! My Blue Reef's Beer Batter Fish n' Chips !!!

Heehe.. forgive me for the badly taken photo but as you can c the portion is big, and it even covered up the homemade fries which taste so deliciously guud!!! The fish fillet is so soft and juicy. Awww... I still could recall back how it melted in my mouth with the tartar sauce!! slurpppss!!!

This tamchiak girl is my sis! Well, I guess you will be seeing her more often in my next posting because she is my roomate in Uni as well!!!~ hahaaha.. Hers is bread crumbed!
